Roger Stone, an ally of President Donald Trump, has claimed that a hit-and-run accident he was in on Wednesday morning in Pompano Beach, Florida, located in Broward County, was “suspicious.” He went on to say that he believed it was possibly an assassination attempt on his life by members of the U.S. Intelligence community. A spokesperson for the Broward County Sheriff’s Office said an accident occurred at 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday that matched Stone’s claim.
The New York Post reported that a car with tinted windows T-boned Stone in Pompano Beach Wednesday morning. Air bags saved his life. Stone was on his way to Orlando at the time of the incident. Stone said the driver of the vehicle that hit him left the scene of the accident.
Roger Stone said the car that hit him sustained some damage, but the driver threw the vehicle in reverse, backed up, and sped off. Stone said he “suffered from blurry vision” after the hit-and-run car accident, but the driver of the vehicle he was traveling in was okay.
Stone said the collision did not seem like an accident to him. Stone suggested that he had been a target of the deep state U.S. intelligence community because he refuted their smear efforts to link Trump’s campaign to the influence of Russia.
Stone “blames anti-Trump leaks on President ‘Obama holdovers’ at the CIA.” He appears to also be placing the blame on supposed assassination attempts on his life on these holdovers in the CIA and possibly within other secret service organizations.
Following the Wikileaks exposure of Democratic emails, Roger Stone admitted that he had harmless contact with Guccifer 2.0, an alleged Russian hacker. Possibly because of this link to the alleged Russian hacker, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) would like Stone to go before the Senate to testify as part of an investigation into Russia interfering with the 2016 presidential election.
Among Roger Stone’s other claims, is that he has been poisoned by polonium in the past. That incident, Stone claims, happened around Christmas. According to Raw Story, the radioactive chemical polonium 210 “was used to murder Russian journalist and Putin Critic Alexander Litvinenko.” He has often referred to a “deep state,” that exists, a sort of government alongside the one that is in the open, one controlled by former President Obama.
Roger Stone said the possibility he might be called to testify to Congress is “why the deep state is trying to take me out.” Continuing, Stone said he had been poisoned, smeared, and now someone had tried to kill him in a car crash. He said he cannot “prove it was a willful effort to hurt” him, but he called it “very suspicious to say the least.”
According to Raw Story, Stone was a “Watergate-era GOP ‘dirty tricks’ operative.” He reportedly has a tattoo of Richard Nixon on his back.
Stone took to Twitter to say the “blurred vision” he had following the hit-and-run accident was to his right eye, on which he previously “had surgery for detached retina sustained in boxing match.” Stone is back on Twitter after having been temporarily suspended “after a misogynist meltdown in which he repeatedly called a female critic a ‘stupid b*tch.'”
Roger Stone, an ally of President Donald Trump, was involved in a hit-and-run accident on Wednesday morning at about 10:45 a.m., as he was being transported by a Uber driver to a book tour event in Orlando, Florida. He experienced blurred vision in his right eye, but was, for the most part, uninjured, so continued on to the event.
