Kreative Kids, a Pomona, California company has issued a recall for approximately 7,600 children’s robes due to a violation of Federal Flammability Standards. According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the robes pose a burn risk to children.
The robes are 100 percent polyester. They were sold in two sizes: 4-6 and 7-9, and eight different styles: red ladybug, blue dog, purple elephant, yellow lion, pink princess cat, yellow duck, brown monkey, and pink bear.
All of the robes have a label sewn inside bearing the item number 2013NW081 and the brand name Kreative Kids. They are all long-sleeved with a hood and belt. There are two pockets on the front of the robes. The robes were sold on Amazon.com and in gift stores throughout California, Texas, Iowa, Ohio, and New York from September 2013 through April 2017.
Consumers who have purchased one or more of these robes are advised to take them away from children and to contact Kreative Kids for a full refund. You can reach the company between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday by calling 1-800-786-2919.
