It is very irritating to hear that the meeting between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin at the G20 assembly in Hamburg, Germany ended the way it did. Trump asked Putin about Russian involvement in the election hacking scandal, to which the Russian leader denied any involvement, and Trump seems happy with that and is ready to move forward working with the Eastern European nation.
The U.S. and Western allies have, for years, been watching Russia very closely, because of the ways their leader, former head of the KGB, Putin has been acting. Following the invasion and annexing of Crimea from Ukraine, and the constant denial that Russian troops were in Ukraine, when there were numerous eye-witness reports that they were across the border, many nations, including the U.S. placed sanctions on the country, letting them know that what they were doing was not okay. During the charge in Syria, Russia was a rogue entity, doing whatever they wanted, despite the U.S. and coalition forces. Barely an hour before a bombing raid, a Russian messenger went to a U.S. embassy and said that they were about to bomb a certain area of Syria and if we had ground forces there, they should evacuate immediately.
Over 40 individuals who have voiced their opposition to President Putin, or have supposedly known too much, have gone missing, been murdered, or died of mysterious reasons. Many around the world, including the Ukrainian president, feel that Putin will not stop until he has reconstructed the Soviet Union, and that is a scary proposition. But, since Putin said Russia did not have a hand in the U.S. election hacking, Trump is ready to move forward constructively with Russia.
It is not just the Russian side of things that is real troubling to so many. Trump and members of his administration are under investigation about secret ties to Russia. Trump denies this, even though the U.S. president’s son, Eric Trump bragged about how easy it was for them to get money from Russia whenever they wanted to build a new hotel or golf course. It now appears that prior to the presidential election, Trump’s own son-in-law, Jared Kushner, and Donald Trump Jr. met with a Russian lawyer, and after meeting with Putin, according to The Washington Post, Trump is ready to move on like nothing happened.
Ethics complaints against the White House, Donald Trump attacking the media, more specifically, attacking women in the media, most recently Mika Brzezinski of MSNBC, as reported by CDA News, pitting the American people against the media because whenever they print the truth, no matter how bad it is and how bad it makes Trump look, he dismisses it as fake news, trying desperately during his campaign to incite violence, this man should not be in control of the U.S.
Following the irresponsible acts of letting his daughter, Ivanka Trump, replace the president in meetings with other world leaders, as CDA News reported, Trump has continually shown that he does not understand politics, he is unwilling to learn the political way, and he views the office of President of the United States with less respect than one should. He has cost the U.S. taxpayer more money in less than one year as president then previous presidents did in an entire four-year term. He seems hell-bent on repealing every single thing that former President Barack Obama completed or began during his presidency, and he is ready to leave hundreds of thousands of disabled, elderly people who are unable to work without Medicaid to save the rich even more money.
Enough is enough. Congress and the U.S. Senate must stand up to this man in the White House and set things right once again. And this is not a Hillary supporter attacking the GOP. Republican or Democrat, anyone who would enter the Oval Office and act the way Trump has needs to be removed. This is not a call for Hillary to take over and slide in as the new President, this would open the door for Vice President Pence to take over as President, unless he is included in the ongoing investigation and found to have illegal ties to Russia. If that was the case, then Speaker Paul Ryan would be the next in line to take the office as President. The main thing is that Trump must be stopped, and soon.
