The shows that have already been planned for the network, such as the Grey‘s spin-off from Shonda Rhimes will also remain as well.
The press release from Netflix offers a statement from the Chief Content Officer for Netflix, Ted Sarandos, which points out that Rhimes is one of television’s “greatest storytellers” in history. Sarandos said that her work is television at its very best as it offers the gamut of emotions and experiences. According to Rhimes, Ted Sarandos and the people at Netflix offer a space that is fearless and clear for all of the creators it works with. She explained that Sarandos understood what it was that she was looking for in terms of the future of Shondaland and that is a chance to build a new home for vibrant storytelling with a more global reach.
